
Sean Kim
Sean Kim developed an early interest in culinary art and Korean food. He grew up in two separate countries which have helped him to put the taste of both countries in our restaurant. He is a graduate of the USC culinary arts program.
With his culinary art background, he has decided to bring Korean food into the Vista with the comfort of the downtown atmosphere.
As one of the owners of the 929 Kitchen & Bar, he is very excited to bring new food trend to downtown Columbia. Traditional Korean food into upscale dining atmosphere is what he is trying to bring into 929 Kitchen & Bar.
Sean is a very successful entrepreneur with 10 plus years of experience in the cellular retail business. He has been very successful in managing and operating many locations of his business in Columbia and surrounding areas.
When Sean is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and prepping meals for them. He also enjoys traveling.

Sung Oh
Sung Oh is a New York-based owner who has spent years studying the food cultures of the New York.
He fell in love with the choices and diversity of the restaurants in New York City. He is very excited to bring some of the style and atmosphere of the restaurants in New York to 929 Kitchen & Bar.
He has been involved in all levels of retail business management. He monitors retail business operations on daily basis with his current cellular business in many locations throughout Columbia areas.
His passion for the restaurant business and support from his wife who has many years of restaurant business experiences brought him to where he is today. Sung is very excited to introduce 929 Kitchen & Bar to the Vista where all ages can enjoy Korean food and the atmosphere.
When Sung is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and his fatherhood with his firstborn.

Corey Norrell moved to Columbia 2 years ago from San Francisco as a transfer student to the University of South Carolina. He has worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years in Rhode Island, San Francisco, and now Columbia, SC. He started his experience in restaurants working in the kitchen at Al Forno in Providence, RI fueling his passion for food and creativity in classic Italian cuisine. Shorty after, he moved on to bartending which brings his knowledge of cooking to the front of the house. Prior to restaurants, Corey served in the US Navy for 4 years and traveled to many different countries including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and even lived in Slovakia for a time.
Corey has always enjoyed cooking for his friends and sharing ideas with others and never afraid to try new things to further his knowledge of food and beverage.
